SWAP: Special Whatchamacallits Affectionately Pinned Somewhere.
It is a small thing made to exchange with other Scouts during events. If you go to almost any Girl Scout event that includes people from more than one troop, you will find someone with a hat with swaps pinned all over it.
Swaps can be almost anything. They are usually hand made, though some people trade kits to make it easier for bulk creation. Some Scouts trade patches instead of crafty things. One of the few rules? If a younger scout asks to swap, you always swap — no matter what their swap is.
